We, at Equal Rights for All PAC, stand firmly with Trustee Rowena Chiu in the face of the inappropriate, misleading, and politicized attacks against her character and service. These baseless accusations are deliberate attempts to undermine her integrity and suppress the diverse voices she represents within the Palo Alto community.
Trustee Chiu has consistently demonstrated principled leadership, courage, and a steadfast commitment to the students and families of PAUSD. Her dedication to fostering an inclusive environment and advocating for thoughtful, balanced educational policies reflects the very values that earned her the trust and votes of the community.
The recent efforts to discredit Ms. Chiu, fueled by those opposing her independent and thoughtful approach, threaten the core principles of free speech, open dialogue, and democratic governance. We condemn these unjust attacks and call on PAUSD leadership to uphold the values of respect, fairness, and diversity of thought.
Ms. Chiu’s voice is vital, and her advocacy for the well-being of all students deserves recognition, not defamation. We urge the community to support Trustee Chiu and stand against the suppression of legitimate, principled discourse.
