RE: Equal Rights for All PAC Endorses Ron Edwards for Assembly District 60

The ERFA board is delighted to announce our endorsement of Mr. Ronald Edwards (Platform: https://www.ronaldedwardsforassembly.com/) for his candidacy for the CA Assembly District 60!

Edwards is an experienced community contributor running to represent the 60th Assembly District in Riverside County. District 60 encompasses the northwestern corner of Riverside County, anchored by Moreno Valley.

Ron brings a wealth of experience and dedication to his candidacy. Here’s why he stands out:

1. A Legacy of Hard Work: Raised in a family with modest means, Ron’s parents instilled in him the importance of hard work and determination. From a young age, he embraced these values. While serving in the United States army, Ron helped provide support for his family and sister who eventually graduated from Princeton University.
2. Military Service: Ron honorably served in the U.S. Army from 1976 to 1980, demonstrating his commitment to our nation.
3. Community Dedication: Ron spent decades serving our community as a USPS postal worker before retiring. He continues to contribute as a small business owner.
4. Faith and Family: As a licensed minister, Ron’s strong faith is central to his life. He is also a devoted husband and father, with his only son now in college.
5. Core Values: Ron has core values with highlights on defending equal rights for all, opposing government preferences and ensuring accountability for elected officials.

Ron is deeply concerned that too many elected officials in Sacramento are prioritizing radical ideals over the interests of their constituents. Ron is particularly critical of his opponent, Corey Jackson, who co-authored and supported the controversial AB1955, which challenges parental rights in the context of gender transitioning students.  Jackson also attempted to bypass the state constitution on racial preferences with his ACA-7 bill, which seeks to reintroduce racial preferences under an “exception”.

Mr. Ron Edwards is committed to fighting for strong families, supporting children, and building vibrant communities. He is the choice for those who value equal rights for all as protected by the California Constitution amendment (Proposition 209).
